Baker Books, a division of Baker Publishing Group, recently added to their editorial and marketing teams with the hiring of three industry veterans. Jon Wilcox joins the Baker Books editorial team as Senior Acquisitions Editor. Wilcox comes to Baker from Family Christian Stores, where he held positions as Associate Vice President of Merchandise and Senior Book Buyer. Prior to that, Wilcox, who has over 18 years experience in the CBA market, also held positions with Tyndale House Publishers and Waterbrook Multnomah. Mike Cook also joins Baker Books as Marketing Manager, Books and Bibles. Cook comes to Baker from Zondervan where he was Marketing Director, for the Church Engagement Group Prior to that, he was in account services with several advertising agencies in West Michigan, and he served as a pastor for ten years. . Cook is a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Theology. Ruth Anderson also joins Baker Books as Marketing Assistant, Books and Bibles. Prior to joining Baker, Anderson was with InterVarsity Press for nearly five years, most recently as Marketing Manager.
