MOUNT HERMON CAREER TRACK

Just a reminder that today is the official deadline to sign up for the Career Track at the Mount Hermon Christian Writers' Conference. However, we will continue to accept applications for a few more days--as long as we have room.

For those not familiar with the track, it is the only such class available at any writers' conference with the imput and interaction at the level of the career writer. The basic criteria for attendance is that you have sold at least 2 books in the last 5 years--at least one of which has gone through the entire publishing process. If you don't qualify but feel this is the best place for you, then apply and we will judge each applicant on his/her merits.

This is clasified as a Major Morning Session, but actually runs both morning and afternoon--almost as a separate conference. For a complete schedule and an application form, go to the Mount Hermon Website: www.mounthermon.org/writers.

Even if you don't qualify for the Career Track, you won't find a better conference than this one for quality of classes and the number of editors and agents in attendance. You also get two free evaluations of manuscripts--either by a specific editor or professional freelancer--your choice.

I look forward to seeing many of you there.
